Interview with Andy McDermott… check out the interview page

This is my first blog interview for 2012, Andy McDermott, author of The Tiger Chase, The Last Tiger, former President of Gold Coast Writers and founder of Publicious, as well as being a good friend. Thank you for sharing your writing journey with my readers Andy.

Q 1 When did you start writing?

I started writing seriously in 1999 when I wrote my first novel The Tiger Chase.

Q 2 What were your first writing efforts?

I used to write poetry at school and even got one published in the school magazine. In the 80’s I used to play in a band and wrote around a hundred songs which I still have somewhere in an old textbook.

2012 started with a good clean out …

I’ve cleaned out the rubbish emails, put what I want to keep in files, deleted mega amount of rubbish and now can see what I want to when it comes in.

I’ve been updating Goodreads with books I’ve read from my old book review lists. Written a new Book Review and have more to come.

I’ve been invited to join a blog tour, write a review or interview.

What’s more I’ve got to a really good place in my follow up book to Dual Visions – Vashla’s World.

It’s only the Fourth Day of the year. So 2012 is very promising so far!

2011 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.

This is great info – check it out!

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 1,400 times in 2011. If it were a cable car, it would take about 23 trips to carry that many people.
