I’ve been following lots of new interesting writing friends on twitter and introducing them to my blog and fb page. Hoping for lots of feedback and interest (if not many purchases) of my great SciFi Dual Visions.

    Hi Jill,
Glad you started following me on Twitter. I have had a peek around your site and lots of good writing info here! I am exploring different author platform models and learning more about the industry, myself at the moment, so enjoyed your information here.
Becoming an indie author seems to be the way to go and I see that you yourself have published with Publicious. Congratulations!! My book, Reframe Weight Loss, has been recently published as an ebook on a site called Smashwords and I will look further into print options in the new year.
Anyway just wanted to connect and say hi. BTW If you know of any good groups I could join up here in Brisbane to learn more from – I guess perhaps self publishing groups – I would love to know about them. Best Wishes, Mon

    Hi Mon,
Thanks for you comment. I’m just starting out in the blog, twitter etc to connect with other writers. My facebook page has more personal stuff but this is all about Dual Visions and promoting writing.

I’m interested in your book and will check out he Smashwords site.

Brisbane has lots of great writing groups, Karen Tyrrell spoke at the Gold Coast Writers meeting last month and she’s in the Logan Writers Group, the other main one to get in touch with would be the Queensland Writers Centre.

If you are able to come to the Gold Coast the Gold Coast Writers Assoc is the group I belong to,

Thanks again for your comment. Please keep in touch.
