New Year Resolutions…

It’s the time of year to reflect on our achievements in 2015 and to prepare for 2016.Christmas day 2015 with Maria and Heather

In 2015, I did quite a lot of scrapbooking, still got heaps to go. Luckily this Santa elf got more new albums. I sorted out files and writing notes in my computer room. Generally still have a lot to work through but it’s much more organised. I went on a get slim and thin diet and thus far have shed (never to return) 10 kilos.

On the writing front I have my original Dual Visions to re-edit (as I’ve found some errors that irk me). I have Vashla’s World to run through edit again (just to make sure nothing is amiss). And finally, my NaNoWriMo project the Sci-fi for YA’s Microworld to revamp. Again I was thrilled to receive Scrivener for Dummies. So 2016 is full steam ahead!

My Resolutions for 2016 are simple ones. Be happy, laugh a  lot, edit, edit and edit some more.

Stay safe everyone over the holiday break for those of you who aren’t working. For those who are, enjoy your life and lap up the appreciation you receive for being there.

About jillswrites

I am a writer of SciFi Books 'Dual Visions' and it's follow up 'Vashla's world'. I also write book reviews, articles and short stories. Several of my short stories appear in a collaborative book for children called Fan-tas-tic-al Tales written in conjunction with my fellow members of The Ten Penners, this was a follow-up book to 'Shock, Horror, Gasp'. Fan-tas-tic-al Tales was released in 2009, now available in hard copy and on Amazon. We are currently in the completing our next adventure based anthology called 'Mystery, Mayhem & Magic' scheduled for release later in 2017. As a member of BookCoasters the Gold Coast Library blog, complementing my own blog, I enjoy blog being able to showcase my work. My book reviews appear in PIO (Pass It On) and e-Writeabout. I'm a happy Grandmother to two beautiful girls, wife of the ever tolerant Clive, mother of our son Simon. I work part time and lead a busy life.
